As the world's sole manufacturer of Clad Brightening Qualities, AMAG rolling is in a position to offer an optimal combination of materials for a wide range of applications.
For such qualities super-pure aluminium (Al99.85 to Al99.99) is applied by a special process (cladding) to core material possessing the desired alloy characteristics.
Such clad material combines ideal cold-shaping and mechanical properties inherent in the core material with superb surface and optical characteristics of the cladding as to ensure excellent results subsequent to surface treatment.
Coil for brighteners and anodisers
Pure aluminium or aluminium alloy materials for continuous coil brightening and coil anodising plants are supplied by AMAG rolling in jumbo coils with a maximum width of 1,620 mm and a maximum 8 metric tons.
The significant characteristics of such products is the high purity degree of the core material and its excellent suitability for brightening and anodising. These products are widely for lighting, bright trim and architectural applications.

Circles, Sheet and Coil for Static Brightening
Availability: In this field there are basically two versions of material to choose from in Brightening and Anodising Quality.
- Solid material in high purity aluminium for reflectors with two bright sides.
- Clad material for which super-pure aluminium (Al99.98 or Al99.99) is clad onto e.g. Al99.5 core material. Cladding thickness amounts to 20% of overall thickness. In the clad version the reverse side of the material has a Mill Finish. To ensure a streakfree and decorative reverse side pure aluminium AI99.5F has to be utilised as core material.
Ranshofen Brightening Qualities are superbly suited for deep-drawing, spinning and presswork. Circle, sheet and coil made by AMAG Rolling can be subjected to all commonly recognised brightening and anodising processes, e.g. Erftwerk, Brytal and Alzak.
